About Agnes
Growing up, I love all things active. My life took a complete turn when I had to undergo a major surgery at the age of 16. The recovery process was arduous. Watching films gave me strength, and said the words I needed to hear. To be strong. Since then, I knew I wanted to be someone who could empower and inspire others through the stories I tell.
I am Agnes, an actress from sunny Singapore. Your Asian girl-next-door with a blend of natural vulnerability and inner strength, which makes me a perfect fit for emotional and nuanced roles. Some of my past works include heartwarming film Office Incognita (Viddsee), interracial film Linda (Viddsee), action film Rogue Cop and drama film Living & Remembering (Our Grandfather Story) where I doubled as the writer-producer, as a tribute to my late father. I made my TV debut with a supporting role in the period drama Silent Walls by Ochre Pictures in 2023.
During the pandemic, I collaborated with filmmakers from abroad to champion social diversity and inclusivity including gender-focused feature Grand Sugar Daddy, immigrant-focused theatrical festival Tales from the Visa Line (USA) and Covid-inspired virtual play Love Letters for Juliet (Canada).
Outside of acting, I live and breathe wellness. I enjoy yoga, pilates, muay thai, dance, and things that give me a new perspective about life and people - films, books, travel, and languages.
Fun Fact: I attended self-defence training in Thailand and attained a L1 certification for Pistol. Always on a journey of unleashing new possibilities!
